Arnaud JOYE
Fullstack engineer based in Paris. I've spent the last few years building and keeping systems alive — at Oodrive, Société Générale, the City of Paris, and co-founding a startup along the way. My ground: Java/Kotlin backends, distributed architectures, and everything that separates a working demo from a service in production. I like code that's useful, teams that move, and problems you can actually solve.
On the ground
I started on application design and development at Infotel and Société Générale, then shifted toward architecture and project leadership at Oodrive and Scipivo. As lead developer at the City of Paris, I ran agile teams and helped people level up. Between missions, I co-founded a tech startup — the fastest school there is for learning that a product is more than its code.
The stack
Java, Spring, TypeScript, Angular, containers, SOA and microservice architectures — the solid base. I've also spent years on API Management and hyperautomation: not as buzzwords, but as concrete levers to unblock teams and get data flowing. The detail is in the radar below.
How I work
Whether rebuilding a billing system at Oodrive or building a product from scratch, I start from the same principle: understand the real problem before writing the first line. Tech comes next, in service of the outcome — not the other way around. I'd rather ship something simple that runs than an engineering masterpiece nobody uses.
As a team
Teamwork isn't a checkbox. I'm as comfortable full-remote as fully onsite — each mode just asks for its own organization, and I practice both. I've trained teams at the City of Paris and run workshops on API Management: passing on what I know is part of the job, not an afterthought.
